| The Editor, WatchOurCity.com Bell, CA - The Associated Press published a photo-journalism page documenting angry residents at Bell city hall protesting the grotesque and criminal level salaries paid to its top three administrators and to 4 of the 5 council members. Two photos in the AP's series shows a young resident wearing his original T-shirt design with the slogan "My City is More Corrupt than Your City". Kudos to the young man. Ironically, the slogan "My city is more corrupt than your city was first coined on WatchOurCity.com on March 4, 2009, alongside a report focusing on the city of Bell's March 2009 election, "George Cole & his Gay Issue". WatchOurCity.com posted a report back 2 years ago noting that Rizzo was making $450,000. We thought that was sensational enough already. |
