The voters have spoken. They will not tolerate abuse of public funds. Incumbent councilman Ed Escareno is vying with candidate Ruben Lopez for last and second to last place. Elba Guerrero takes the lead currently. City Clerk Elba Romo is running a close second. Incumbent councilman Ric Loya is third. The provisional votes could swing either way for any of the top three candidates. What payback does Rosario Marin and mayor John Noguez expect? Noguez supported Guerrero; Marin supported Romo.
