Huntington Park, CA - Final vote tally will not be known for a few more days,
according to the city clerks office since there are approximately 130 provisional votes
outstanding.

The voters have spoken. They will not tolerate abuse of public funds.

Incumbent councilman Ed Escareno is vying with candidate Ruben Lopez for last and
second to last place.

Elba Guerrero takes the lead currently. City Clerk Elba Romo is running a close
second. Incumbent councilman Ric Loya is third. The provisional votes could swing
either way for any of the top three candidates.

What payback does Rosario Marin and mayor John Noguez expect?

Noguez supported Guerrero; Marin supported Romo.

Stay tuned.
